Jeff's original Color Composites due to some restrictions in the number of colors and art files

for the screenprint some minor changes will be made along the way.

8x10 Film Negative for the Black Print

back from the imaging lab.

Full Sized blown up film Positive for the

Silk Screen and checked to

the shape cut of the decal.

 First color to Print-Blue

Unlike the previous screened pieces in reverse  this time the black print comes last

Each color is screened into place and registration marks are used to keep them all aligned.

Screen inks are are somewhat transparent and more colors can be achieved by screening colors on top of other colors.

As here the yellow has been screened where needed as well as on top of some red to make a Dark Orange.

And Finally the Black detail which brings it all together.

Depending on the type of file, complexity, and # of colors can be one of the most difficult tasks  in creating screenprinted art.

Each color to be printed is separated before it can be printed. Than each ach color/Layer is treated with outlines for bleeds

Unlike an inkjet print where it is printed from a color composite color image.

After Printing the base color White on the Tinted Plex Checking the  next color to print-Purple

The red is a rubylith film masking which

will be used to make the next silkscreen.

After the purple was printed its now time to check placement for the smaller remaining spot color fills.
